PEAK Pharma Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Senior Product Manager/Brand Manager on behalf of a well-established and growing pharmaceutical organization in Canada. In this role, you'll work to continue to develop marketing plans and execute tactics for this organization’s prescription brands. This position is for a 1-year term.
Contribute in the execution of marketing programs to support the overall product strategy and corporate objectives
Analyze current market research and competitor strategies
Oversee all aspects of a product life cycle
Contribute in the launch of new products and releases; manage the cross functional implementation of the plan
Contribute in development and recommendation of pricing strategies for existing and new products
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, training, finance, market/sales analytics, market research, etc.) to develop and implement a brand action plan based on product profile, market dynamics, as well as competitive landscape and intelligence
Ensure that strategies, objectives and tactics for the brand are accurately translated to the field via training programs and manuals
Contribute in the development and execution of the health care professional marketing tactical plan including:
Branded and unbranded educational programs
Congress/convention booths and activities
Disease and product awareness programs
PR events including managing relationships with agencies
Liaise with assigned internal and external partners to ensure consistent brand strategy
Gain approval for marketing tactics through the internal and external review process
Develop sustainable, high level working partnerships with internal and external resources
Collaborate with and influence a diverse group of individuals in a proactive, objective and diplomatic manner
Contribute in the execution of marketing activities in compliance with medical, regulatory and legal requirements
Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirementsIdentify market opportunities and customer targets through competitive analysis, positioning, and marketing strategy assessments.
Identify specific distribution or channel issues and provide appropriate solutions.
Provide/reinforce strategic action plan for sales consultants during all POAs
Gain feedback and track marketing and sales program effectiveness/ROI
This position reports to the VP, Sales & Marketing
At least 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing strategies and regulatory/compliance environment
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally in representing the client organization
Has demonstrated the ability to effectively implement and communicate the core brand messages, product positioning statements, and collateral materials
Strong project management skills
Must possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work collaboratively
Competent in communication strategies and execution tactics
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Results oriented with proven track record of success
Strong analytical and planning skills are desired
Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA required
This position may require travel
