PEAK Pharma Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing Canadian healthcare organization. Our client is expanding and developing a new division to support their line of OTC products. You will want to part of this exciting opportunity.
Our client is looking for a skilled Key Account Manager - Quebec to assume a senior leadership role in sales, with a primary focus on Pharmacy Key Accounts and Banners. The ideal candidate will build strong relationship with these strategic customers and stakeholders, while working with the sales team. The goal is to sustain and grow sales and achieve long-term success for our client. The position reports to the Business Unit Director.
Develop, maintain and communicate a formal account plan execution for the Quebec market
Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company and industry standards
Proactive identification and communication of the potential gaps and possible short term and long-term solutions
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
Lead on-going communication and meetings between company and account key contact(s), to foster customer intimacy and ensure the client is aware of company’s range of capabilities and long-term commitment to the clients’ priorities.
Proactive and timely identification of the strategic account developments or requests and ongoing discovery and communication of new service/solution opportunities
Represent the voice of customer to the company leadership team on important/urgent issues Involve and coordinate with necessary company personnel to support achievement of customer needs while meeting performance objectives
Build company brand portfolio within Pharmacy and retail setting.
Achieve sales/profitability targets and meet strategic objectives for the assigned accounts
Experience and Background
Technical Skills: 3+ years’ experience in an account management role
An undergraduate degree
Experience in retail pharmacy or pharma is considered an asset
Strong acumen in account management
Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to create and defend a business case
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing key account strategies and plans
Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts
Solid experience in working with and communicating strategies and opportunities to business lead and operations teams
Strong leadership skills, can lead, coordinate, multitask in a fast paced environment
Existing relationships with key account stakeholders is considered a strong asset
